FIGURE DRAWING

Working from live models, students gain insights on human proportion and learn how line and tone contribute to successful drawings of the human figure. Exercises are designed to explore line quality, composition and form. Previous drawing or painting experience recommended. Course fee includes model fees.

LAURIE KIVNEY has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Hartford Art School. Her specialty is figurative and portrait drawing and painting, and she has taught children and adults for over twenty years. She brings a tremendous amount of enthusiasm for art to all her classes.
