INTERPRETING WITH OIL & ACRYLICLearn how to create strong sketches and develop a painting in stages. Working from landscape photos or a still life, students will receive instruction to improve their drawing as well as painting skills, while working to complete a painting. Experiment with realistic or expressive interpretations of your subject. Open to all skill levels. Materials Needed: Bring an 11" x 14" drawing pad, #2B pencil and a kneaded eraser to the first class. Based on the painting medium, the instructor will recommend other materials needed including paper towels and/or rags for wiping brushes. Wednesdays, 6:30 - 9:00 pm, Instructor: Ramona Agro RAMONA AGRO has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Tufts University and has studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and Paier College of Art. She has been teaching art to children, teens and adults for more than 20 years. Her works in acrylic and oils have been exhibited throughout the Boston area and the Midwest. |
