OPEN STUDIO

Working in the medium of their choice, students work on individual projects with guidance and critique provided by the instructor. A still life will be available to draw or paint, in addition to a clothed model once a month (fee does not include model). Students must pre-register by the Friday prior to the class. Minimum of 5 students required to run the Studio.

MARY LANG KILLILEA - Mary Killilea has exhibited in juried shows across the country and is the recipient of many awards, most notably the Sax Gold Medal for Watercolor and a First Place in the Pastel Journal annual pastel competition. Her work is featured in Pure Color The Best of Pastel, published by North Light Books in 2006.

DIANNE GORRICK has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Purdue University, and a Master of Studio Arts degree from Wesleyan University. She brings over thirty years of teaching experience and a never-ending exuberance to every class. Dianne is an Elected Artist of Mystic Art Center and Essex Art Association.
