PASTELS
This class focuses on the use of soft pastels to create powerful landscape paintings. Working from photographs, students will work with the instructor to develop a personal style and learn the importance of composition and how to apply this versatile medium to Wallis pastel paper. Good drawing skills or experience with pastels is recommended.

MARY LANG KILLILEA - Mary Killilea has exhibited in juried shows across the country and is the recipient of many awards, most notably the Sax Gold Medal for Watercolor and a First Place in the Pastel Journal annual pastel competition. Her work is featured in Pure Color The Best of Pastel, published by North Light Books in 2006.
